A Leader in Couplings & Accessories since 1914.
NECO was founded in 1914 as the Garrott Brass & Machine Company in Houston, Texas. The focus of the company initially was on custom manufacturing for other manufacturers, but this would later change into designing and manufacturing our own products over the years.
In 1974 Thomas Collier, (Tom), becomes the third generation from his family to take over the company which at that time was known as Garrott Industries. During this time Tom began to research industrial products that were in short supply & products that had a limited amount of competitors and expanded the companies manufacturing into those areas. The most significant addition was our new product lineup of Sandblast Fittings.
In 1992 the company underwent two major changes. The first was the move of the company from Houston to Brenham, Texas, making us the neighbors of Blue Bell Creameries. Tom than officially changed the companies name to National Equipment Corporation, abbreviated as NECO.
In 2017 Robert Collier, the son of Thomas Collier, took over the reins of NECO and immediately began looking into ways to grow the company. His first expansion was the introduction of NECO’s Ball Valve product line.
Starting in Q4 of 2018 NECO began purchasing the equipment needed to perform additive manufacturing operations for full production jobs. In 2019 we officially began offering our additive manufacturing service to the public which we named (NECO Labs).
